Autorenporträt
J. Carter Merwin is a member of the Romance Writers of America, and the Women Fiction Writers Association, an international organization. She lives in Castleton, Vermont and runs a small gallery with her artist husband, Tom. She has been writing for over 40 years primarily published in the poetry and children's books genres. Julie has also worked at the Rutland County Humane Society for over nine years and in that time has proudly and lovingly cared for over twelve thousand animals. In between scrubbing kennels or bottle-feeding kittens she occasionally runs for a pen and scribbles plot notes. Her fellow staff members are bemused but very understanding. A small portion of the profits from her books will be continually donated to that organization. The 'Tales of Earden' series is her first venture into fantasy/adventure/romance fiction. "The first three novels were written on legal pads in a surprising creative fury within two years of each other, I still don't know where they came from but to quote Ray Harryhausen "...a gift from the gods should never be questioned, only accepted." Volumes One, Two and Three will be released in 2016 within months of each other. The fourth volume 'The Seer' is now being written.
