Produktbeschreibung
This book gathers a research on dance in which the concept of the body is questioned and re-established from surrealist methods and the construction of meaning in experimental audiovisual language. This surreal body overturns the logic of conventionality and constitutes a step towards new ways of conceptualizing the pillars of movement practices such as space, weight, energy flow and time. Faced with the ideological suspicion of the human body as an obsolete entity not only for the perception of reality but also for creation in art, virtuality and the multimedia world open up a whole universe of infinite possibilities. The concrete world, including the body, ceases to be a physical biological consolidation to become transmutable codes. Perhaps it is time to reconsider the concept of the body and open our gaze to post-organic existence.
