Jack Canfield, author of The Success Principles, and co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, spoke with Kim LM Longstreet in 2023 about her book "The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets". Kim's work as an advocate for wellness has inspired people to motivate their body, mind, spirit, and soul to work collaboratively to find inner peace. Kim's childhood was fraught with abuse and at the age of six years old she had an encounter with her higher power that set the tone for her life's journey. She was told to "trust me and you will find out what it is all for." Years later at the age of thirty-six she penned "Life's Holy Rhymes" and contends that she co-authored it with her higher power. Nineteen years after Life's Holy Rhymes was written, she felt the nudge to get the book published. The word soul is mentioned over eight hundred times in The Sun Neither Rises nor Sets. When asked by Jack what her book teaches people that they might find especially helpful, Kim shared that "it's not selfish to want to find your soul, take care of yourself, do the wellness, and do the things that you need to do in life." Jack's response: "Right. Owning all of yourself. Being yourself. Being authentic. It's a lot easier. I love it."
