As she thought about how she could stop the bullying and name-calling, a story popped into her head. She told this story to the children, which helped them understand how hurtful the bullying and name-calling was. Margie went home and put the story on paper, and eventually turned it into this book! She hopes it will help children get along with others who might look, dress, talk or be different from themselves. ¿Margie was born in Salida, Colorado.
