Peter served his apprenticeship as a plumber and pipe fitter. His job took him upand down the country over many years from Kent, London, Yorkshire, SouthWales and the North Sea. Mostly on large construction sites in many parts ofBritain, he checked out his family history, which led him onto writing poetry.
