Olivier de Solminihac was born in 1976 in Lille and lives in Dunkirk, France. To write his children's books he doesn't look for inspiration in his own childhood. He prefers to take the road to far away places where everything is strange and surprising. In another life he might prefer to be an anthropologist. He's the author of more than a dozen children's books as well as novels and poetry for grown ups.
