Lance Hosey was an architect and author who has written two books, contributed to several others, and published hundreds of essays for the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, and many other media outlets. In 2018, he won the American Institute of Architects Sarah Booth Conroy Prize, and in 2015 he became one of only 30 people in the world to be named a Fellow with both the AIA and the US Green Building Council. Builder magazine has said "Lance Hosey is on a crusade to revolutionize what it means to be sustainable."
