Produktbeschreibung
The book seeks to highlight different situations indicative of exclusion and social vulnerability in the Brazilian territory, seeking to express a broader perspective, complementary to that linked to the issue of insufficient income, and thus highlight the responsibilities, and omission, of the State, at all administrative levels, in promoting the well-being of citizens. As already highlighted in specialized literature, schools located in vulnerable territories have great difficulties in ensuring quality education due to this context of spatial segregation and distance from diverse social and cultural resources. It can be seen that the educational reality of these peripheral regions conceals inequalities that are still very massive, deepened by the educational policies adopted and that have not taken into account, among other aspects, the relationship that exists between the valorisation of teaching work and the quality of teaching.
