Debbie Terranova is an Australian author of historical fiction, crime mysteries, and gripping short stories. Her self-styled genre is 'fiction with a conscience': stories inspired by true events and controversial issues.She has published four novels and numerous short stories. In 2022, she was awarded a special commendation in the 29th Scarlet Stiletto Awards for her short story, a crime mystery set in the gem-fields of Central Queensland.Debbie is a former HR professional and Research Fellow of the State Library of Queensland. Her formal qualifications are Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Public Administration (MPA).She travels extensively within Australia and overseas, in particular to Europe and the USA.
