Autorenporträt
Mark R. Landahl, serves as the Emergency Manager for the City of Rockville, Maryland. He recently retired from a law enforcement career, last serving as the Homeland Security Commander for the Frederick County (Maryland) Sheriff's Office. In addition to work in practice, Dr Landahl teaches at several universities and regularly publishes and speaks on issues in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Tonya E. Thornton (Neaves), is an Assistant Professor at George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government, where she coordinates the Emergency Management and Homeland Security graduate certificate. Tonya's research interests primarily focus on emergency management, traffic safety, critical infrastructure, and community resiliency.
