Kate has been writing stories ever since she could write, and before then she was making puppet shows for her family. That was eight years ago, yes, Kate was thirteen years old at the time of publishing. She was twelve when she wrote the book. Kate loves stories, reading and writing them. When Kate isn't writing she can be found riding her bike in around her neighborhood in Southern California. Kate lives with her mom, dad, brother, and two dogs, Roxy and Janet.
