This is the story of seven Boy Scouts from Texas that travel to Great Brittan to participate in the World Jamboree with two adult leaders. Once there they are sent back to fifth century AD to help two Guardian Saints find and return to him Merlin's Gray Grimoire, a volume containing all the magic left in the world to correct the balance between Order and Chaos. The boys, their leaders and a Guardian Saint follow clues left by Merlin to find the seven parts of the Gray Grimoire and hopefully find Merlin along the way. The book is divided into two parts the story of the Quest and the legendary tales of Merlin to clear up the misconception many recent authors have been slinging around, like Merlin being younger than Arthur. They also say he was not a Christian. This also was incorrect. I read over twenty books on Merlin, Arthur and his Knights to bring you this story.
Autorenporträt
I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and have lived here or in one of its suburbs for over 65 years. I was a teacher for 43 years. I have taught swimming, lifesaving, canoeing, rowing, small boat safety, sailing, first aid, and CPR. I then taught Chemistry, Physical Science, Biology, Organic Chemistry, Environmental Science, Algebra, Life Science, Cheerleading and Choir. I spent 19 years with a scout pack and scout troop, and counseled 43 merit badges. And I spent over 150 nights in camp as chaperone and teacher for many weekend programs. I teach Bible studies even now. I fell in love with knights and chivalry after seeing the TV series called "The Legends of Sir Lancelot" with its theme song "In days of old when knights were bold, the boldest knight was Lancelot." This was what led me to read the books listed in the prologs, preludes and introductions. Most of these I read in the language they were written in.
