NICHOLAS BAMI MICHAEL GODWIN was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone and started writing poetry at an early age. He was featured in the "International Who's Who in Poetry-2005", and is the recipient of the Editor's Choice Award from POETRY.COM and the International Library of Poetry for outstanding achievement in poetry. Now a naturalized American citizen, he holds the BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) and MBA (Master in Business Administration) degrees from an American University. He is married to Kezia Elvira Godwin and they have two children, Ida Michaela Godwin and Melvin Beola Godwin. He currently lives in North Carolina, USA.
