Dana Macc has worked as a fully credentialed educator for both adults and youth for over 30 years and holds a master's degree in education with a specialization in autism. She has practiced yoga and meditation as personal methods of self-care since 1999. She is a certified yoga teacher, and mindset coach in the Los Angeles area and travels abroad to facilitate international wellness retreats with her Mind Mode style of Hatha yoga. She is the recent author of The Pirate Who Loved Flip Flops, a children's book which encourages the discussion among young readers on the important issues of bullying, inclusion and diversity. She has developed a curriculum for young children and adolescents, Seeing Real Success Kids and Teens Yoga currently being taught in the public-school setting and teaches academic school success through mindfulness and neuroscience. In her workshops and courses, the transformational speaker informs her audiences on the powerful benefits of holistic alternatives to health and healing with an intensive focus on goal-setting as it relates to self-development and increasing one's happiness quotient.
