The works of Estryn-Béhar and Fouillot (1990), Vinet (2002), and Vézina, Ndjaboué and Bridon (2010); have proven that the physical workload in hospitals deteriorates the health of professionals through MSD, stress, heart attack and work accidents.Unfortunately, at the University Hospital of Libreville in Gabon (CHUL) where this study was conducted, it is not yet studied, despite the large number of diseases that affect its staff (MSD, stress, accidents, etc.) (Mihindou-Boussougou, 2016), and the rampant increase in the number of work-related accidents recorded in 2019 (nearly 1600 to 2200) (Gabonactu, 2019). This poses a serious problem, although it is acknowledged that some personnel fare better than others (Boussougou-Moussavou, 1999), as researchers have shown that certain personal skills predict success in both physical activities (Le-Her, 2017) and work activities (Barrick & Mount, 1991).
