'The executive committee of the National Association of Independent Schools appointed a special committee on the study of art to produce an evaluation and report. The committee expanded its scope and received support from The MIT Press. In the report here, five contributors offer nine articles that are evaluations of present educational programs and suggestions for future art involvement by secondary schools and colleges.'
