But Faïl will be more than just a difficult journey through the wilderness. Strange individuals- some benevolent, some dangerous-await Teg on his journey, as do romance, an awakening to esoteric spirituality, and encounters with beings straight from Celtic folklore. In the end, Teg's quest may force him to brave horizons even further than Faïl, ones of which he had never previously even dreamed.

Adrian Bates lives in Val de Loire, France, with his beloved wife and their Australian sheepdog. He spent three years studying ancient megalithic sites in Southern Ireland as a layman. This experience, along with his interest in areas like archeology, holistic healing and phytotherapy, helped inspire and inform The Oc Tara Tides-as did a dream. In addition to writing, Adrian enjoys gardening, reading, listening to music, and walking his dog. He also has a certificate in herbal medicine and a diploma in reflexology.
