Esler Crawford is one of Ireland's leading commercial photographers. He became a professional photographer in 1969 and founded a hugely successful photographic agency, Esler Crawford Photography, in 1978. He is the author of the bestselling The North from the Air (Blackstaff Press, 1999), Mad for Road: 170 Great Rally Photographs (Blackstaff Press, 2004) and The North: A View from the Skies (Blackstaff Press, 2008).
