Autorenporträt
Mark Exworthy is Professor of Health Policy and Management at the University of Birmingham. He has research and published widely on the topics of health policy implementation, professional-managerial relations, NHS commissioning, and health inequalities. Together with the editors of this book, he also edited 'Dismantling the NHS?' which evaluated the health reforms of the Coalition government (2010-2015) (Policy Press 2016). Russell Mannion is Professor of Health Systems at the University of Birmingham and is Honorary Professor at the Australian Institute for Health Innovation, Macquarie University, Sydney. He has published widely on the topics of health policy evaluation, patient safety and cultures in healthcare. He has provided policy and research advice to a range of international governments agencies including, WHO, OECD and the European Health Management Association. Martin Powell is Professor of Health and Social Policy at the University of Birmingham. He has published over 100 peer reviewed articles and authored or edited some 20 texts including a series of books for Policy Press exploring social policy under the Labour, Coalition and Conservative governments. He has written widely on health care issues, including with the current co-editors.
