Autorenporträt
Eugene Fischerstudied physics at Trinity University. He is a graduate of both the Iowa Writers' Workshop and the Clarion Writers' Workshop in San Diego. His writing has appeared in Asimov's and Strange Horizons. His novella, "The New Mother" won the James Tiptree Award in 2016 and was also nominated for the Nebula and Sturgeon Awards. As an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa, he created an undergraduate course on Writing and Reading Science Fiction. He lives in Austin, Texas where he helped create a science fiction writing summer camp for children.
