With the determination that the Higgs Boson doesn't have enough mass to validate The Standard Model, science has reached a plateau and the need for New Science was born. This second edition of The New Universe invites you to think outside the box in order to move forward. The book has 6 chapters and they are; Spectral Theory of Atoms Spectra of Life Galaxies and Time Footprints of a Planetary System Nebulae Cosmic Cycle Fond out why is light both particle and wave? How are galaxies born, do evolve and die? Do black holes have an anatomy? Why are there volcanoes on celestial objects covered with ice in the frigid temperatures of the deep space? How did the first organic molecules form to make life possible on Earth? Is there really a Unified Field Theory as envisioned by Einstein? If you are ready to discover a new Universe this book is for you.
Autorenporträt
The author has received a four year degree in Geophysics from the Science Faculty of University of Istanbul in February 1966 before starting a lifelong international career around the world working for Geophysical Service and International Oil Companies, specializing in application of seismic methods and digital technologies to hydrocarbon exploration. He has resided and worked in 6 different countries on 4 Continents during his long career developing global perspectives and a greater understanding of humanity. In 1986, he became a US citizen and changed his name from Güven Demirseren to Robert Houston during naturalization process. In two separate letters to American Geophysical Union and The Society of Exploration Geophysicists, he first proposed that the Inner Core of our Earth may be spinning faster than its Crust. In 1997, scientists documented his prediction to be correct. Encouraged by this development, he extended his work into Astrophysics and published the first edition of The New Universe (ISBN; 1-57733-057-9) in 1999 in which he presented for the first time his theories about the birth and evolution of galaxies, internal structures of black holes and atomic spectra. He is currently a resident of Texas.
