Zarina Deshmukh tem um doutoramento em inglês, um triplo mestrado (Literatura Inglesa, Turismo e Gestão), um diploma em Ensino de Inglês e um certificado internacional em TESOL. Além disso, possui uma licenciatura dupla, tem 7 anos de experiência de ensino e trabalhou na imprensa escrita como redatora de conteúdos. A autora é uma fervorosa amante dos clássicos.
