It is timely that we revisit the scientist-practitioner model. David Lane and Sarah Corrie make a persuasive and coherent case that it not only continues to serve its purpose, but that it can be reinvigorated to inform and enhance our practice and to support us as we move forward to face the challenges of the twenty-first century.
