Produktbeschreibung
As design and manufacturing organizations begin digital transformations, most struggle to achieve Model-Based Definition (MBD), even as industry increasingly pushes to standardize this automated methodology. Through elimination of duplicative processes, and increased data quality, MBD offers businesses, small and large, a competitive edge, via speed, agility, and ultimately profitability. The Model-Based Definition Handbook offers a simplified path for organizations to follow by breaking down the transformation to MBD into two separate, smaller challenges, which can be solved by following four, well-detailed steps. A tool-agnostic approach is utilized throughout the book, and both the methods defined and the process templates offered are scalable to design and manufacturing organizations of all sizes.
