Jacob David Rains was born in Ogden, Utah, on August 31st, 1983. Believing his name sounds too biblical, to the rest of the world, he goes by Jake. Raised in Evanston, Wyoming, he could be found doing anything outdoors: snowboarding, skateboarding, hacky sack, or just jacking the emergency brake in his car doing 50 mph on a dirt road. Jake just wanted to have fun. When not attempting to be a writer, he can be found pretending to be Tom Cruise from "Cocktail" bartending at May Farms, a local hemp farm in Byers, just outside of Denver, Colorado, where he lives with his two children. Creator, writer, inventor, artist, thinker, talker, philosopher, barkeeper, and sorcerer, Jacob David Rains is truly a "Jake-of-all-trades"!
