Autorenporträt
Houston businessman, speaker, author, and community activist. As founder and co-founder of multiple for-profit and nonprofit organizations, he has helped thousands of individuals throughout the United States through personal development and continuing education. His most recent community jewel is "Re-Creating ME," which is dedicated to youth development through prevention and intervention services, adult development through services related to computer literacy, financial literacy, career advancement, and entrepreneurship. Through the organization's many partners and sponsors, Edward is able to continue to do the work that he loves the most--bringing real and lasting change through personal development to as many people as possible. Edward is also a 2021 doctoral candidate for his degree in strategic leadership and nonprofit management. Jacqueline Terrell believes that strong organizations create strong communities. It is on that belief that she founded J. Terrell Consulting Firm in 2006, a nonprofit consulting firm where she coaches her clients to nonprofit success. She co-founded the African American National Spelling Bee Championships, Inc. (AANSBC) in 2010. Through her work as Executive Director with AANSBC, Jacqueline created another avenue to put her passion for community to work: ensuring that middle-school students in underserved communities learn spelling decoding techniques so they can become better spellers, readers and writers. Jacqueline then joined the coaching team at Personal M-PACT as a founding member. Her natural ability to coach others into personal and professional success makes her a great addition to the team. A native New Orleanian, Jacqueline has studied at the University of New Orleans, University of Houston, and earned a certificate of achievement from the prestigious Rice University's Leadership Institute of Nonprofit Executives (LINE). She also has over 20 years of relevant education and business experience. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the Texas Association for Literacy Educators (TALE), and the Greater Houston Black Chamber (GHBC). As a Nonprofit Industry Champion with GHBC, she is committed to design training programs that will empower non-profit leadership to create "profitable nonprofits."
