Autorenporträt
John Wray wurde 1971 in Washington/USA als Sohn eines amerikanischen Vaters und einer österreichischen Mutter geboren. Studium am Oberlin College, an der Columbia University und an der Universität Wien. Er lebt derzeit als freier Schriftsteller in Brooklyn, N.Y. und Friesach (Kärnten). 2007 wurde er von dem bekannten Literaturmagazin Granta unter die 20 besten jungen US-Autoren gewählt.
