Ray Shaffer has made his home outside the small community of Dallastown, Pennsylvania since 1969. He has three children. He now has four grandchildren, three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. Ray spent 32 years working in the lottery industry in sales, marketing, and public relations. In his various roles, he was able to travel around the world meeting with government officials and lottery executives, participating in and giving speeches in numerous industry meetings, and international conventions. He has always dreamed of writing a children's book about a dachshund.
