The problematic of state power has always been topical. In many respects the support of the research interest is connected with those transformational processes that take place in the political system of modern Russia. Focusing on the nature and essence of civil society, on the factors of its development, on the construction of a model of relations between its institutions and the state power makes us turn to the domestic tradition of studying the liberal bases of the power functioning. The liberal "project" was presented most comprehensively by thinkers of the Russian abroad in the first half of the 20th century. This paper explores the position of ideologists of "émigré" liberalism on the essence and nature of Russian state power through the study of the structure and sources of origin of power. The process of implementation of the Russian state power through the mechanisms of its transfer and methods of authority is analyzed. The book is intended for researchers in political science, philosophy and history. It will also be of interest to all those involved in the study of the Russian abroad of the early twentieth century in the political-philosophical context.
