Over the past decade , the International Community has recognised the revolution of using the electronic means as a medium for forming a contractual relationship. As a result of this revolution and to enhance community confidence in the use of information communication technology, many jurisdictions have implemented legislation aimed at addressing the legality and enforceability of electronic transactions. One important aspect of electronic contracting addressed is how an electronic document or contract can and should be signed.
