Flora Caputo has been an award-winning creative director/art director in advertising for over 25 years, equipped with a BA from Columbia College Chicago and an emphasis in illustration. During this time, she has been the author/owner of the popular food, garden, and lifestyle blog "The Urban Domestic Diva". The blog has grown into a vibrant community of people who love bringing beauty and creativity into their daily lives. Her gardening and food passions drove curiosity and advocacy for the world's pollinators, who are a necessary link in the global food chain. Their depleting numbers inspired Flora to write, hand-illustrate, and publish her books.Flora lives with her family on the northwest side of Chicago. When she is not writing or working in her design studio, she can be found watching Britcom reruns with her husband or pottering around her garden beds.
