Nacido en Costa de Marfil el 1/1/1962, Kouakou Raphael es antiguo alumno del Collège Saint-Viateur de Bouaké y del Lycée Classique de Abiyán. Se graduó en la Escuela Normal Superior de Abiyán y en la Universidad de Abiyán. Es profesor de español en el Centre National de Para et Télé-Enseignement de Abiyán. Está casado y tiene seis hijos.
