AUTHOR: Gene G. Bradbury. This is the seventh children's book written by the author. He also has had stories published in several children's magazines including: Humpty Dumpty, Primary Treasure, Cricket, Chickadee, and others. In addition to these, Gene has published three poetry chapbooks and a collection of short stories. He has three daughters and two grandchildren. He lives with his wife, Deborah, in the Pacific Northwest. ILLUSTRATOR: Victoria Wickell-Stewart. Vicki has been a watercolorist (self-taught) for eighteen years. Her inspiration comes from nature and the Northwest where she resides with her husband in a wild-life preserve. Vicki's love of creating began in her childhood. She believes it is the loveliest way to show the inner self. Illustrating provides Vicki with another avenue for connecting with others, particularly children.
