Autorenporträt
She was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, in 1926 and was the youngest of five children. At the age of eighty-seven, she wrote "George the Giraffe" and had so much fun writing it she decided to write another animal book-thus "Kenny the Kangaroo and Koala" for you to enjoy. As children don't seem to listen to their parents, she has hidden in her book what parents try to teach without sounding like their mother. When not writing, she loves reading, cruising, and gardening. She loves cooking for family and friends. She has a son and a daughter, both retired, and they are amazed that she is agile and alert.
