Autorenporträt
E.V. Luther is one half of the Iloveitaly.wine group. She is an author, a business consultant, and a part-time yogi who lives just outside London and juggles the balance between loving wine and travel, and needing to work her day job to fund it. Ellie's enthusiasm is fuelled by her love of wine and getting to travel to Italy and beyond in her pursuit of research and knowledge. She has lived in both London and Sydney for several years (yes a lot of those spent in the Hunter Valley at weekends) and now lives in the leafy suburbs of Hertfordshire with her partner Diane - the brains behind this wonderful group. When she can't be swanning around the vineyards of Mount Etna, Ellie is finding the best wine options on the UK supermarket aisles, and making wine accessible to millennials who are looking to take the next steps in their wine knowledge, or beyond to anyone who's looking to take a fluff-free approach to learning about the sector. The wine group undertake frequent wine courses and classes, as well as research, to bring digestible wine knowledge to a new audience who are looking to make smarter decisions.. on wine of course, for the rest, who are we to judge?Wine in all its glory has powered Ellie to write her first book and to continue to write many more, as well as the desire to learn more about new wine destinations - uniting us as a group of friends and experts. As the author, Ellie hopes this book takes care of the geography of Italian wine; its terroirs; gets you through a dinner choosing a decent one and also does a pretty good job on some of the grapes and fun stuff about wine as well.
