In the black community of New York called Harlem lives an African American boy named James Kyle Lieutenant, who loves his Father very much, and his Father happens to be a local minister and preacher. One day James' unarmed Father is killed by a racist white police officer named Officer Derek Chains. Charges are not pressed against Officer Derek Chains until riots break loose in almost every city in the United States of America. Once brought before a white judge and a majority white jury, Officer Derek Chains is found not guilty of killing James' unarmed sweet Father. Riots continued. James manages to kill Officer Derek Chains without anyone realizing he did it. After James' Father is killed, James develops a deep hatred for white people and thinks all white people are racist until he meets a lovely and kind-hearted black preacher called Pastor Moses Reeds Senior. Years later, James became a very influential, successful, and famous businessman and had two children. One day the Mississippi police department made a mistake and arrested an elderly black coach by the name of Jamal Henry Wilson for the murder of Derek Chains. If sentenced, Jamal will face the death penalty for a crime James committed. What will James do? Will James turn himself in and get sentenced to death, leaving his two children without a Father, but Jamal walks free and returns to his family? Or will James not turn himself in, so his two children will be with their Father, but an innocent man gets sentenced to death for a crime James committed?
