This book presents an analysis of the impact of the balance of payments on the growth prospects of six Western Balkan countries. The main focus is to see how the balance of payments can have a positive or negative impact on the WN-6 countries, which share a similar political agenda based on EU integration, and to see how they manage their accounts current. To understand this study, we will use secondary data for an annual time frame: 2010-2020 that will be provided by relevant international institutions, such as: the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank. Based on the empirical results obtained from this study, we can conclude that the balance of payments has a positive impact on the economic growth of the Western Balkan countries for the analyzed period 2010-2020.
