Autorenporträt
Christophe Gironde is a political economist, currently working as a senior lecturer at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. He is also the deputy Editor-in-Chief of International Development Policy. His main research interests are human development and agrarian change, with a regional focus on Southeast Asia and extensive field experience in Vietnam and Cambodia. Gilles Carbonnier is Vice-President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Professor of Development Economics at the Graduate Institute, Geneva. He was formerly Editor-in-Chief of International Development Policy, and currently is a member of the editorial board. His research interests include international development cooperation, as well as the governance of natural resources and illicit financial flows. His latest book is entitled Humanitarian Economics, War, Disaster and the Global Aid Market (London and New York: Hurst and Oxford University Press, 2016).
