Autorenporträt
Melanie Peacock, PhD, MBA, CPHR, is an associate professor with the Bissett School of Business at Mount Royal University and owner of the HR consulting business Double M Training & Consulting. Melanie has been extensively involved in professional and strategic initiatives as a senior manager, independent HR consultant, and educator. Melanie is an active local, provincial, and national media contributor who is consistently sought out for her advice and insights pertaining to topical HR issues. In 2014, Melanie was given the first Mount Royal Faculty Association Teaching Excellence Award. In further acknowledgment of her work and accomplishments, Melanie received the Western University Alumni Association's 2016 Professional Achievement Award and was named to HRD magazine's 2017 "Hot List," which recognized the top 30 influential HR practitioners from across Canada. Melanie obtained her B. Comm, with distinction, at the University of Alberta, her MBA from Western University, and her PhD from the University of Calgary.
