Carter Johnson was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He attended and survived both Catholic and private schools. After trying for many years to break into Hollywood as a screenwriter, he switched his focus to novels and couldn't be happier. He co-hosts a podcast called History Creeps about strange events in history. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, their daughter, and two crazy cats.
