Eileen Moore returned to Arizona at age 14 after living in the country of Ecuador for seven years. She survived wild trips through the sandy gulches of the desert with her father at the wheel. When he own children were born, she wished to introduce them to the great outdoors and frequently took them hiking and camping. Out of that experience she wrote her first book on hiking with children. The children survived and now enjoy outdoor activities with their children.
