The author would take his readers on a ride from the Self-Revelation of the I-AM that the Lord God is with Moses, through King David, to the I-AM of the Messiah of Israel and of the Incarnation, and to the I-AM of the Dogma of the Church as the People of God. It is argued that the Grace and Truth of the Lord God cannot rightly be grasped in all of their depth in the world without becoming able to integrate both the continuity and the discontinuities of this Revelation with us, even in our own times.

Autorenporträt
Nancy and John McKenna have been married for more than thirty-five years, having met in the Jesus Movement in Southern California in 1972. With their son, Paul Drew, they have sought to minister the gospel in Peru, Brazil, and Russia with Korean-based ministries, and throughout the United States, since 1996, with the Worldwide Church of God. John is a student of the distinguished Scottish professor Thomas F. Torrance, whose mentoring and friendship have enabled him to seek to continue to hold the challenges of Torrance before his students and the laymen of the Church of Jesus Christ, with a steady confrontation of Christian theology with our modern or postmodern scientific cultures.
