Kevin Bates was born in Beaumont, Texas and currently resides in Houston, TX. A devoted reader and writer; each day is spent wandering in the world or words. As a kid, his mother brought him into this world of words. Soon afterward when I asked her to read another, she would tell me to pick a book off the shelf & to read it myself."
