Hello, my name is Pam Breedlove Lear and I wrote the book, THE GIFTED. I got the idea for this book from a dream I had one night. I saw a very hairy boy like creature squatted down in the middle of the road as I was driving home from work from the hospital. He turned and looked at me, then picked up the skull, put it under his arm and ran away on a country side road into the trees. The dream did not scare me, but I couldn't get it out of my mind. I told my husband Noah about my dream and told him I felt I was intended to write something, but didn't know what. I made 2 attempts but was unsuccessful. Still I kept thinking about it. Finally I prayed and told God if he wished me to write a book for him to please inspire me. This time I began to write with success and every day before I wrote I, prayed that same prayer and thus, this book was born.
