Quoted by the San Francisco Examiner, interviewed on CBS television, a speaker for the Nevada State Parks and a local radio presenter. Patrick has been a Tahoe historian for more than thirty years. He was the historical cruise narrator for the paddle-steamer MS Dixie for nine summer seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. His present-day work takes him worldwide but he still calls Tahoe home. He lives in Tahoe City, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2013.
