In this backdrop the study has been undertaken where by this potent medicinal plant of Kashmir valley Aconitum where subjected to tissue culture studies, cytology, taxonomy and chemical investigation and documented in the present book. Dr. Neelofar Jabeen obtained her Ph.D. in Botany from University of Kashmir, Srinagar, J&K, India for work on taxonomic and phytochemical studies on some species of genus Aconitum in Kashmir Himalaya and Mr. Mohammad Imran Kozgar, is presently a Research Fellow (BSR-UGC) working for his doctoral degree at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India.
