Anders de la Motte, Jahrgang 1971, arbeitete mehrere Jahre als Polizist in Stockholm, bevor er 2001 in die Security-Branche wechselte. Heute arbeitet er als Sicherheitschef für die europäische Niederlassung eines internationalen Technologie-Unternehmens. Er lebt mit seiner Frau und seinen zwei Kindern in der Nähe von Malmö.
