The sculpture Ágora by Joaquín Restrepo in contrast to its homonym by the artist Magdalena Abakanowicz, is studied in order to show the reasons that led two contemporary artists, diametrically different in many aspects, to coincide in structuring their works, from the representation of bodies with the absence of some body parts and from the visual game that is achieved with the emptiness in these.
