Drew Attana was born on a now defunct Air Force base east of Los Angeles, then spent the better part of twenty years kicking around the West Coast, getting into trouble from Tijuana to Portland. After getting his act together, Drew studied English at Portland State, received his MFA from Pacific University, and in 2014, began working on his PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. When he isn't writing, Drew splits his time between teaching and feeding his debilitating addiction to collecting vinyl. His work has appeared in Gulf Stream Literary Magazine, Phoebe Literary Journal, Common Ground Review, West Trade Review, Shark Reef Literary Magazine, Merrimack Review and Cargo Literary Journal, among others.
