I have published a book "Jesus in the Eyes of Apostle John" based on the Gospel of John. Clearly, at the end of Chapter Twenty, Apostle John stated the reason he wrote the book was that "you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you may have life in his name". You can see that Apostle John had never declared to us that Jesus was God Himself. Within the context and the boundary of the meanings of the words, I can clearly see that such objective has been fully met. The following is just a continuation of my works to see whether Apostle John has ever changed his mind in the Book of 1 John. Apparently, Apostle John did not change his mind as he had further emphasized repeatedly that Jesus was God's Son. With respect to language, this declaration has helped to rule out that Jesus was God Himself.
